The steel structure of this work is formed by combining multiple ancestral techniques. Tinsmithing, raising and repousse hammering are used to create the head and body. The legs are made of forged iron. The mosaic is designed from scrap glass, pottery, buttons and other materials found at antique dealer. Each piece is precisely and painstakingly glued following a design developed beforehand. Plain floor grout is then applied to fill in any gaps between the pieces. The watch indicates the production year, with 20:00 (on the 24-hour clock) corresponding to 2020. Plain floor grout is applied to fill in any gaps between the pieces.
