The work "Playing the violin" is part of a corpus of creations in masterly formats. The integration of various recycled materials is already part of the artist's approach, but in this work the large format objects, in this case violins, were the starting point of the composition. The work is in fact a joyful mandala that amalgamates charming vintage objects with various recycled materials: fragments of old crockery and mirrors, scraps of stained glass, buttons, jewelry, toy soldiers, utensils, furniture handles, and coins. The old watch in the center indicates the time of creation; 18 hours for the year 2018.
