The work "The ball is in your court" is the first of a corpus of creations in masterly formats. The integration of various recycled materials is already part of the artist's approach, but in this work, large format objects, in this case tennis rackets, were the starting point of the composition. The work is in fact a joyful mandala that amalgamates vintage objects with various recycled materials: fragments of old dishes and mirrors, stained glass scraps, buttons, jewelry, toy soldiers, utensils, furniture handles, and coins. The old watch in the center indicates the time of creation; 18 hours for the year 2018. In the age of the Anthropocene, it is our turn to play to save the planet, the ball is now in our court.
